Took two 8' Rebar and cut with my HF grinder. welded with the HF wire welder.
Probably a stronger welder would have been more efficient. A dash of heat paint.
Used my fence as a bending jig.

Welder worked fine for a few hours. It stopped feeding wire when I pull the trigger. Will still feed using the cold start button. Is there a setting that needs to be checked?

HF is phasing these out in favor of the new Titanium stick welder, so I took advantage of the $129 clearance price and grabbed one, along with some 1/16" and 3/32" welding rods. Had a 30% coupon that knocked the price down on the welding rods (coupon was for under $10 items).

Picked this up to replace the truly bad Chicago Electric abrasive cut-off saw

Saw went together pretty quickly. It was missing one of the pulley set screws; I had to re-thread the hole to use a substitute set screw I had on hand. That was annoying, but not unusual for a HF machine to be missing a small part.

In a word: Awful.

Bought this saw a few weeks ago; realized when I got home it doesn't come with an abrasive wheel. Went to Home Depot and picked up a 14" Diablo wheel. Assembled the saw and got to cutting (2" square tubing, 10ga).
