I was looking for the #1740 capacity, 4'x8', non-folding trailer. The clerk at my store still had it listed as being on clearance but he didn't have any in stock. He wasn't sure if there were some still "floating around" in the system, but he hadn't been advised that they should remove the item from the store listing. It was listed for a really good price and I would like to get one since it was selling for around $140 less than the similar folding model. Anyone know what the story is?

I’d just call every store you’d be willing to drive to and ask if item #62647 is in stock. You could also ask your local store if they could order one for you. Another option would be to call 1-800-423-2567 and see if they can find one in stock somewhere. Let us know if you find one and post some photos if you get it! They do offer the folding model. I am interested in the non-folding one. Since they are clearing out the non-folding model they were pricing them lower to get rid of them. New trailers are fun and I've built various HF trailers in the past.
Oh dang, totally mis-read your post. Yeah the only non-folding one I see is the 1090 one. I'd still call the number; maybe they can locate one for ya.
