Newbie here, and sorry if this has been asked before, but have a couple of questions.

Other than the larger tires (5.30X12 vs 4.80X12) and larger coupler (2" vs 1 7/8") is there much else different between the 1720 lb folding trailer and the 1195 lb folding trailer?

Has anyone converted the 4X8 to a 4X4 by moving the spring perch assembly forward? Thanks.

While trying to put a 15 ft lb torque on my u-bolts on my 48x40 Harbor Freight trailer I bent but the U-Bolt Plates. I feel like I should replace it. Any thoughts?

Just bought one and have completed about 90% of the final project. I used it once noe to go to the local Lowes for plywood and 2x4s bounced a bit till I loaded but tracked very good and I am pleased. I made some errors in putting the plywood down so quick as it is I cant unbolt it to fold up and that was a main reason for getting the folding model so I will go back and rework a bit.
any suggestions on how to make it easy to bolt and unbolt quickly ans I do need to fold to store.

I have a project that requires transporting and unloading 300 to 500 lb boulders. Can find no information online about adding a crane to the HF 1720 trailer. Any opinions on whether this is feasible for this trailer? Plan is to beef up the trailer framing and add receiver plate for the crane.

I was looking for the #1740 capacity, 4'x8', non-folding trailer. The clerk at my store still had it listed as being on clearance but he didn't have any in stock. He wasn't sure if there were some still "floating around" in the system, but he hadn't been advised that they should remove the item from the store listing. It was listed for a really good price and I would like to get one since it was selling for around $140 less than the similar folding model. Anyone know what the story is?
